Chance McNeely was raised in DeSoto Parish and has over a decade of senior experience in various levels of government. He began his career at the National Rifle Association in Washington, DC before serving two Republican members of Congress. He moved back to Louisiana and was appointed to senior roles under two Louisiana governors. Having held key roles on the executive staffs of both DEQ and the DOTD, McNeely understands the inner workings of state agencies. He also led the statewide trade association for the trucking industry. McNeely holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and a Master’s in Public Administration from Louisiana State University.
